Description:

For sale by owner is a 1992 BMW K75S café racer project in need of completion. I purchased the bike with good intentions, however, at age 73 I’ve lost interest in the bike and my wife wants it out of the garage. Happy wife, happy life! This 1992 BMW K75S was brought back to life after being stored inside for 6 years following a work injury to the previous owner. All the engine fluids were changed, oil, coolant, transmission, and rear oil, as well as the fork oil. The tank was cleaned and all internals were replaced - fuel pump, fuel filter, gaskets, fuel level float. New fuel injectors and spark plugs were installed – all at a cost of over $1000. I then added the custom tailfin from a and a Lithium Battery and stainless steel performance exhaust muffler with a removable DB Killer. Speedo stopped working at 65496 miles. The below YouTube link is a demo ride and cold start clip: https://youtu.be/7X8F42FhNs0 The ABS control unit was not working so I disconnected it. The brakes work fine without the ABS. The seat needs upholstery. All the stock wiring in intake and everything electronically works. It is ready for new LED lighting with the right hardware. ABS light remains on because it has been disabled. I have a clear Texas title in my name. As seen in the video bike is running and street legal. You won’t need to bring a trailer unless preferred. The bike is great fun to ride and the 750 cc 3 cylinder engine has lots of power. No known issues other than what has been stated. Comes with 2 keys, original tool kit, owner’s manuals and Clymer Manual. This is a great project bike for $1500 cash only. I have invested much more than that amount so I believe the price is fair.
