1999 MAXUM 1800 SR SPORT RUNABOUT-COMPLETE RENOVATION

1999 MAXUM 1800 SR BOAT AND TRAILER – Here’s your opportunity to purchase a fully renovated, like near new Maxum 18 foot open bow sport runabout boat. Everything mechanical has either been replaced or rebuilt. Starting with the Mercruiser V-6 4.3 engine, has been completely rebuilt and upgraded. Hard to find 220 HP model. The new exhaust manifolds and risers are new Barr units (which carry a 3 year warranty). A remote location oil filter was added to ease future service, and a new battery is in place. The Mercruiser drive assembly was completely rebuilt with new gimbal bearing, drive and exhaust bellows, water intake hose, shift cable, new tilt and trim relays. The outdrive itself is a brand new SEI aftermarket unit, with a refurbished 19 x 21 prop (SEI units come with a 3 year unconditional warranty – unfortunately not transferrable). The galvanized single axle trailer has new axle hubs, bearings and seals. It has a new disc brake system and new hydraulic lines and coupler. The tires are new Good Year “E” rated on galvanized rims. The 2 speed winch is a new Fulton F2 unit rated at 3500 lbs. A new tachometer with hour meter was added along with a Faria GPS integrated speedometer. The upholstery is in good serviceable condition. The boat also has a new cockpit and bow cover made from high quality Top Gun fabric, and has air vents and support poles. To complete the package there is a general storage cover that covers the entire boat when not in use. I just completed a 2 hour sea trial and that is the total number of hours on the boat since restoration.
