Description:

Maintained and ready to hit the water 2003 Larson 180 SEI open bow with a Volvo Penta 4.3L v6. I purchased this in 2017 and have done quite a bit to ensure it runs well. All the big items were done at WOT Marine and I have all that paperwork. Smaller items I took care of myself. There were 458 hours on the meter when I bought it, but I also discovered the meter was incorrectly wired, so there are more hours on the engine than displayed. Outside of regular maintenance (oil, filters, impeller, grease) these are some of the additional items done since I purchased the boat: Transom assembly (replaced drive & exhaust bellows, gimbal bearing, transom seal, sensor and trim sender unit) Replaced shift cable (twice since owning, once in 2017 then again in 2022) Replaced thermostat Replaced bilge pump (was missing when I bought it) New blower & blower ducting Replaced carburetor New bimini top + frame Replaced trailer tires Replaced battery Replaced steering cable Replaced water pump Replaced trailer winch Replaced trailer brake system (new lines, actuator, calipers, discs, wiring harness) Re-wired dash and all gauges Replaced aux/light/blower switches New cover (last year) New bluetooth stereo & speakers (done just a few weeks ago) This boat was used by Evelle in Carlsbad to "model" covers and bimini tops. See the video links below. Things that need attention: - Could use a new carb - the one I got was a rebuilt and it runs very rich and is rusting out already - Cold starts require starter fluid, but once it's been running it's fine. Just when the carb dries out it needs help. - I have snap-in carpets, but they are starting to frey and the snaps are falling out - The adjustable seats are frozen (were like that when I bought it), so if you need to move them they'll have to be fixed/replaced The last time in the shop they recommended these items: - New trim pump due to corrosion - New fuel pump (does not run while cranking) - this would likely fix the cold start issue - New carb - Replace exhaust manifold joints due to rust The boat runs well and has been a lot of fun. The interior is in decent shape and I keep the boat covered so it's held up pretty well. It will come with everything needed to take it out on the water - life vests, anchor, oar, emergency flag, flares, fire extinguishers. I'll also throw in the tool kit I made for emergencies. I'm not in a hurry to sell, but just haven't been using the boat much for the past year - kid moved away for college, so no more towing tubes around the bay, plus I haven't gotten my boater license which I was required to do this year. I may have some of the additional work done, but that will raise the price. Not looking to trade, cash (or equivalent) only. No test rides, since I don't have my license to take it out on the water, but I can certainly start everything up on land so you can see it run.
