Description:

2006 Ford F-650 23’ flatbed/stake-bed truck with lift gate. This truck has the great Cummins-Allison combo. automatic transmission shifts flawlessly and the motor runs perfectly. I bought the truck to move from Denver to Morrison Colorado a 20 mile drive one way and made 17 runs. The truck gets great fuel milage and the guy that I bought it from said out of his 11 truck fleet (which he sold the entire fleet to pursue a different business) he used this for his longer runs. The entire truck is very clean and thats why I bought it as I knew I would be reselling it when I was finished moving. As soon as I bought it I brought it to a big truck repair company and had a full service done. This included change of all fluids, filters, lube all zerts and a general one over inspection. I have the receipt for the work done with a full description. On one of my last moving runs about a mile from my house I heard a little whine that I hadn’t heard before, so I called a good friend to hear it. He’s one of RTD’s top mechanics. When he heard it he informed me that it was the turbo and that I needed to replace it before it got worse. Along with the new turbo I also just replaced the two batteries as they were old and not holding a charge well. The tires had been recently replaced before I bought the truck and they still look very good, as i only drove it 600 plus miles. The bed is missing one gate and a few of the gates need some repairs as far as them latching together. The lift gate operates as it should and so do all of the lights and other electrical components. Except for the radio is weird and sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t It didn’t really matter to me so I didn’t mess with it. A lot of my buddies are diesel guys and every one that knows about the truck has explained to me that is was the last year that they would touch of this model. Reason being that the computer components where top notch and had very few problems. As far as the newer F-650s they had a-lot of glitches a-lot of the time that will leave these trucks in default mode and they spend a-lot of their lives in the shop. Thanks for reading!
