Description:

It’s a sad day, but unfortunately I need to sell my truck. In need of downsizing to something better on gas. This is a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT with 4x4 capabilities. It’s a 4.0 V6 automatic engine with just about 185,000 miles on it. This truck is my daily driver, however it does have a few issues in need of taking care of: Rust: It’s a Ford, it’s gonna have some rust. The side panels have a bit of rust, and the underneath also has rust. The bed of the truck has a rust hole, but I built the bed around it so it never bothered me. Catalytic Converters: Yes, the truck needs both cat converters replaced which is tripping the check engine light (P0420, P0430), which makes it unable to pass inspection. Title: The truck does have a salvage title. I bought it from a salvage yard a couple years ago, and apparently it was in an accident back in 2016 and was declared totaled. It was a front end accident, but you could never get me to believe it was in an accident. Had it appraised and was told “if you don’t buy it, I will”. Have NEVER noticed any issues while driving it in terms of a past accident. Other than those issues, the truck is awesome. I love it so much, but with my next chapter in schooling and a hefty commute, I don’t have the time or the money to fix it up, and I need something that will get me more than 16mpg. In the right hands, someone looking for a fun project, this truck could easily run for another 200,000 miles. The camping rig is something I built right at the beginning of this summer. Had big big plans for this truck. Mattress is brand spanking new. Have only taken it out camping twice. The truck cap does have some leaks still, and have had struggles figuring out where the water is getting in. Went around with a sealant on any spot I could find that could get wet. Screens would need to be replaced on the cap. I can sell with or without the bed and bed frame - up to the buyer. Thanks for reading and your interest!
