Description:

96 Champion 181DC, 1997 Merc 150 XR6 Tempest Plus 21p, 52" 80lb 24V Ultrex with recessed pedal tray new in 2021 (slight cosmetic damage on power head) connected with universal 2d sonor to HDS8 gen 1, Elite 7 HDI on the console , New bilge and new live well areator in 2022. Dual axle trailer (rare for an 18ft boat). Garage kept, flooring is rock solid, carpet is ok, had some worn through spots on the edge of the deck...Has some wear on the hull and some small surface cracks on the transom and gunwale, but I belive the transom is solid and have not had any issues. Keel gurad installed, and seats are in pretty good shape, no rips or tears. Pretty decent shape for being 27 years old. Wiped down after every use. Motor runs well just changed the plugs last week, like with any 2 stroke she sometimes has a mind of her own and need some encouragement to get started 1st of the season and when dropped into the water, but just use the throttle choke, and she usually gets smoking in no time. Trailer is in decent shape everything works as it should, led lights, flat 4 connector, bearing and hubs are serviced pretty regularly. New TM batteries 2021 still strong, Group 27 dual purpose for pumps, lights, graphs and cranking, still good, but might need replaced in a year or two.On-Board 3 bank Minnkota charger. Two hydraulic pedal posts with butt seats, that are pretty much permanently on the decks. Comes with two covers, one pretty much brand new, but both are pretty much worthless unless you can figure out how to get those posts out, but the newer o e does fit over the top enough. Decent life left on the tires and spare. 30 gallon fuel tank, sperate oil reservoir. Only one gage is functional on the dash and that is the trim gage, which IMO is the most important. Boat will typically run between 39 and 45mph on the top end these days and depends on the load as well, but those are the average numbers for top speed that I have seen on this boat. Champion hulls are the best in the world and while they may not be the fastest they are the most stable and best for big water there is. 181DC is def not an aircraft carrier (slightly narrow) and the storage is slightly limited, but it is a great riding boat. Title is good and trailer is registered Sad day, hate to see my baby go, but time to move on and start a new adventure. Not pristine by any means, she's a working man's boat that just plain gets the job done, catches fish, and if you fish tourneys...this boat wins money. Thanks for looking....need to sell asap, so cash talks.
