This is a rare Antique Large dresser with pull out desk. It has great character! It dates from the late 1700s - early 1800s. It has a birch wood front and walnut wood in drawers. Was most likely made in New England. This dresser has a top drawer which opens up to reveal a secretary desk with a writing surface. The Inside of the desk has 6 small drawers, a central prospect door flanked by two "hidden" document drawers, and then 8 open cubby holes. Underneath the desk is 3 Large bottom bureau pull out drawers. It has original oval brass pulls hardware. Comes with two keys. It has a serpentine skirt below drawers and four flaring "French" feet. Condition is very good for the time period. There is wear consistent with age and use. Some cracking in the wood. Piece is solid and sturdy.
