March -- June, Bald Eagles nest in the back yard as one of our resident eagle parents send another set of babies into the world. Views also include Protection Island, Whidbey Island, the Lagoon below as well as the Strait of Juan de Fuca. In an hour or less, you can get to ferries bound for Canada, Seattle, or Whidbey Island; drive to Hurricane Ridge and Olympic Nat'l Park, Dungeness Spit, and several Lavender Farms in Sequim, visit Port Townsend or Port Angeles as well as hike from your door along several miles of beachfront or forest trails or enjoy the picnic area close by. MAX number of guests is 8 - including adults, children and babies. Eagle's Nest is stylish, beautiful, spacious, and airy ~ a 2 story, custom, kit-home, built from a company in Canada, 3 bedrooms (3 queen beds), 2 1/2 bathrooms, with 2 bathtubs (one with a nice tree top view), Bald Eagle nest in back yard, binoculars in living room, excellent water views, with 2 huge decks , garage, laundry room, free Wi-Fi, Dish TV, roomy bedrooms with queen size beds (there is an extra office bedroom with twin bed and double size futon), plenty of books to read and movies to watch, and a modern kitchen, with granite countertops, electric hot water pot, skylights, ceramic range top, and free coffee, tea are provided. Relax on Adirondack chairs or sit by the table and enjoy the view below you or above you if the eagles are hanging out in the trees nearby. Beach access below and community picnic area as well. Eagle's Nest is located at the end of a very quiet road in Sunshine Acres, Diamond Point area. Best of all, during spring and early summer, the bald eagles put on a show for our guests as they nest in the tree out back. Lowest rates for all seasons - bring your linens and clean before you leave. We supply linens for a 1 - time linens fee (based on # of beds used). Refundable cleaning/damage deposit starts @ $150 for small # of guests, and goes up for 5 or more people. We have a 2 NIGHT minimum during off-season/non-holidays and 3 NIGHT MINIMUM during high season months and all holidays (includes days before and after). Reservation deposit required. Deposits refunded if we can fill cancelled days - non-refundable if we can't. High season rates (Memorial Day week-end - Sept and holidays) - $165 for 2 guests. $25/night per extra guest plus tax. Apr/May (before Memorial Day week-end) /Oct - $150 for 2 guests - $15/person per night plus tax. Nov - March - $140 for 2 guests - $12.50/night per extra guest plus tax. Holiday rates are $165 / night same as high season rate (this includes the days directly preceding and following the holiday) . We do allow pets here. There is a separate $150 refundable damage deposit for pets. They may not be left alone without owners in the home. No barking dogs allowed, and pets must be leashed and picked up after when outside.
