Details: I discovered a Trabant car show in former East Berlin while visiting Germany in 1995. The Trabant is a 2-cylinder car made during 1957-1991 by former East German car maker VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke Zwickau. It was hugely popular and played a role in escapes from East Berlin to the West. The car body is made of resin mixed with cotton.
