Hi, One private furnished bedroom with a private bathroom+shower room (no tub) in a 2-bdrm unit on near-top floor will be available in the modern high-rise apartment complex located at the great area in Cambridge (Lechmere/Cambridge Crossing/Kendall) from 9/7/2023 (Earlier move-in date might be negotiable). The building locates in front of the newly renovated Lechmere station. The area has been updated recently, safe, extremely convenient and pretty attractive; MIT is very close so are Harvard, MGH, and Boston downtown. Monthly rent is $2,400/month -- all rooms in the unit (bedrooms, living room, kitchen) are fully furnished. In this apartment unit, you will have one roommate (me: a French-Japanese-American/working professional) in the separate bedroom/bathroom; so only kitchen/laundry and living room to be shared. I might consider if a (married) couple would like to move in the room together; but in that case, the monthly rent would be $2,500/month. Dish washer, disposal, washer and dryer are all within the unit. Trash shooter is on the same floor. Utilities costs are just for the electricity and Internet (Verizon FiOS) that would be split equally per roommate. The building has great amenities: It has a beautiful and spacious open patio (for residents only) with numbers of BBQ grills, gym (24/7), conference room, recreational/bar room, and 24-hour concierge. The building hygiene management here is excellent so that you can feel comfortable and safe living here even post-COVID. (Our unit is in Zinc Apartments; you can check building info, amenity, etc. on its website as well :)) Move-in cost is the First month rent and a Security deposit: $2,400x2=$4,800 ($5,000 for a couple). (*Security deposit would be returned when lease expires). If you move out before the lease ends, you'll need to find the replacement who would pay you the security deposit back. The current lease ends on 9/8/23, which has an option for the extension/renewal. Cats or Dogs are allowed with additional pet rents to the building.
