The house itself is fully and tastefully furnished, has a beautiful open kitchen and dining room, two full bathrooms, a sitting room, a large TV/game room as well as two other bedrooms upstairs. The house also comes with ample street parking, a shared private driveway (including an electric charger!!!) as well as a huge backyard, great deck and pergola. (The housemates like to have BBQs and play corn hole in the warmer months!!) One housemate is working in the peace and conflict space and the other one works for a Jewish youth organization that runs international trips. Both housemates like living with other people but know how to respect each other’s space as they work long hours and mostly work remote from home. Interests include cooking, baking, playing games, watching movies (especially musicals), have dinner parties and small get-togethers but definitely no huge messy parties! The housemates like open, direct communication and really strive to keep a clean home (a cleaner comes once a month at a cost of 50 dollars per person per month--not included in the rent).
