John Deere Self Propelled Mower JS20

John Deere JS20 mower. 21" mowing deck Self Propelled - rear drive. 6.75 HP briggs and stratton motor I bought this new, locally, and have recently bought a newer mower. This one needs to go. Always change the oil / plug / air filter once per year (usually in late fall). Always keep fuel stabilizer in the fuel when I buy it, so it always has nice fresh gasoline. Comes with a spare blade - I keep one sharpened, and stored on the wall, so I can swap them out. Usually twice a season. also included is the side chute - you can attach that and blast stuff out the side if you don't want to mulch. No bag attachment, I tossed that out years ago. the rubber tires are a bit bald, but don't slip. The friction adjust for the drive speed kept slipping, so I just zip tied that lever to the cable - I never run this at a slower speed anyway. There is a different lever, that works, for engaging/disengaging the drive. Deck is solid, no rust or damage. some seasons I might have to add a bit of oil close to the time I change it, but not always. So far this year, it's still way up on the dipstick. So it can use some oil, but it's not thirsty for it. A solid mower if you don't want to spend lots of $$$ for something new.
