We have one large room available to rent in our property in Whittier. We are located only two blocks away from Whittier College and are looking for a new tenant in their 20s or 30s to join our home. We are all between the ages of 23-30 years old. We all share similarities in a casual, low maintenance lifestyle and are super laidback. Our house is 420 friendly as well as LGBT friendly. You will have as much privacy or interaction as you desire. The room is large large enough to place a queen size bed, desk, and large screen television while still having enough room for decorations. There is a closet for you to hang your clothes and includes A/C unit to stay cool during the summer months. Plenty of electrical outlets available to use. Hardwood floors that are easy to clean. We supply all the toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. We expect you be VERY clean and tidy up after yourself. Although we do have a cleaning service, you are expected to maintain the common areas clean after your own use. Property itself has a full kitchen with oven, stove, fridge, microwave, air fryer, blender, toaster and coffee maker that is available for you to use for your own cooking needs. We also have pots, pans, baking pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups and utensils for you to use. Also included are a washer/dryer available for use. You will be responsible for your own detergent/dryer sheets. House also includes various cleaning supplies for you to use including vacuum cleaner, broom, and dust pan. We do have two lovingly kitties in the main house that everyone loves and adores. They are super friendly. Street parking is available throughout the entire block. Rent is $1230 a month flat which includes utilities, wifi, and a cleaning service that comes each month to clean the common areas (bathrooms and kitchen) that is split between the tenants. SINGLE OCCUPANCY ONLY. No couples or families please. We are only looking for someone within our age range (20s-30s) to keep the energy in the house balanced. One year lease minimum.
