Springwell is seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to support service and program delivery to older adults and individuals with disabilities who need help managing their finances. POSITION DESCRIPTION The part-time (20 hr/wk) Money Management Program (MMP) Coordinator supports older adults, individuals with disabilities, and volunteers in our Representative Payee and Bill Payer Programs by conducting home visits to assess the client’s situation and make matches with appropriate volunteers. The MMP Coordinator provides ongoing support to clients and volunteers in the program and maintains records in compliance with program guidelines. This individual utilizes problem-solving skills and works closely with other staff in the department to ensure that the needs of clients are met and that appropriate resources are provided for needs beyond the scope of the program.  QUALIFICATIONS Self-motivation, flexibility, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work cooperatively and diplomatically with clients, volunteers, community representatives, and staff.  Ability to relate to individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Ability to conduct home visits to explain program and assess client’s money management needs and eligibility. Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent skills in observation, assessment and problem-solving. Experience with volunteer programming, preferably involving elderly population. Solid understanding of routine household finances and budgeting. Experience with the Representative Payee program and Social Security preferred. Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with program guidelines. Bachelor's Degree, preferably in human-service field, volunteer administration and/or relevant experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
