Original Colored Sand Artwork Painting in Shadow Box by Artist Naoshi

I bought this in 2017 for my daughter at a Los Angeles boutique. It is an original sand art painting made with colored sand that features a girl floating in space (mounted on a black velvet backing) with three colored sand art stars. It is by the artist Naoshi. It is a limited item #4 in a series of 10 & is signed. Naoshi is a Los Angeles based artist from Japan. She uses colorful sand (It's calledSUNAE in Japan) to create surreal people in fantastical or real world settings, that inspire a more whimsical perspective of life. She has written a book and has exhibited her work extensively in the US, Europe and Asia since 2007. The art piece itself measures approximately: 11" X 14".
