Schenke Jonway 250 Scooter

2008 Jonway YY250-T Scooter. In very good condition with the exception of some cosmetic issues. It spent most of it's life near the beach, so there is some surface rust on the chrome. The bodywork is in great shape, but the cheap Chinese plastic on the dash is where the cosmetic issues are - see the pictures. There are some weird scratches on the windshield - no clue how (or why) they got there. It's reliable and safe. It has a new battery, so it starts quickly and it runs perfect. Fully automatic, just twist and go. It has a lot more power than your typical 150cc scooter, so it is freewy legal. It has a completely new brake system on the front - master cylinder, caliper and ABS unit and a new caliper in the rear. There is also a nice lockable trunk for your stuff. The guy I bought it from was a "Gadget Guy" and put several extra electronic things on it, including a bicycle speedometer. The original speedo only shows 750 miles, but I think he had it unhooked until he decided to sell it. It is hooked up now, but the speed is not accurate. I believe it probably has about 3-5K on it. The registration is good till 12/23 and I have a clean title in my name. Asking $1350 or reasonable CASH offer in person - no phone or email negotiations. The price reflects the cosmetic issues and you won't find another 250 for anywhere near this price. No checks , trades or 'creative' (scammy) stuff. If you want to negotiate, you need to come and see it. Test rides only with your cash in my hand. Delivery possible for gas money depending on where you live. Can be seen in Northridge M-F, 8-4, or in Simi Valley eves or on the weekend. It is garaged in Simi, so prior arrangements must be made to see it in Northridge.
