1953 1954 1955 Ford truck gas tank

USED fuel tank out of 1955 F100. Overall good condition. Did not leak. Has been sitting in dry storage for around ten years. This tank was in my F100 when I bought it. It has several baffles in it to help reduce fuel slosh while driving. One of the baffles had broken so I dropped the tank and removed it. Afterwards I reinstalled the tank and continued to use it with no issues. I ended up replacing the tank because a friend of mine had a new tank left over from a project that he no longer needed so I bought that from him. Sending unit float is missing and will need to be replaced if you want the gas gauge to function. These are still readily available from places like LMC and MidFifty and fairly inexpensive. I also can’t remember if the gauge was accurate or not. It might be smart to replace the 60-some year old sending unit while the tank is out. $35
