Description:

The Premiere was introduced in 1956 as an upscaled version of the Lincoln Capri. Premieres were sold between 1956-1960 and were the top-end Lincolns. They were marketed against the Cadillac Series 62 and Imperial Crown Coupe. The Premiere was only made for 5 years, making it one of the more rare 50s cars. This particular Premiere spent most of its life in a climate controlled garage. It has been on many long trips to car shows around the country. This car is being sold with a clean and clear title in the owner’s name. This Lincoln is finished in a two-tone style with yellow on the top and green on the bottom. The car has been repainted, but otherwise it is an almost completely original rig. The absence of door handles makes it clear this is a custom. It’s been fitted with electric doors that open with the press of a fob. The suspension is all original, aside from a 3-inch drop in the rear. Finally, this Premiere has the original wheels and fitting white walls. The outside of this car is a head-turner. The interior is extremely well preserved. The seats are finished in green vinyl. They have been preserved to their immaculate original finish. The factory bubble seat covers have never been removed from this vehicle. The customizations continue on the interior with power doors and windows. This interior is truly stunning. The careful preservation speaks for itself. This rig is ready for a new driver to finally break it in. Under the hood, you’ll find a Lincoln 369 V8 engine. This is the original engine. It also has the original automatic transmission. This engine looks the part with an Edelbrock air cleaner and black Lincoln valve covers. The originality of this engine is impressive, but the upgrades are what really make it. It has power steering and power brakes, which make it very functional for the modern driver. This engine runs strong and drives like a dream. The current owner has taken it on trips all over the country. He is hoping it goes to someone who can do the same. This car is being auctioned on a new classic car auction site.
