Description:
1969 Dodge ½ ton long bed truck with what appears to be original paint (except the hood) and mostly original interior. Not sure what size V8 engine but it has an automatic on the column. Wiring has been redone and it starts up easily but is cold blooded. Transmission is sluggish to shift into drive when cold so let it warm up. Brakes are soft and could use new rubber brake lines and general maintenance (brake pedal is old and sticky and doesn't release all the way). Drives fine and steering is about 10 turns lock to lock! but it isn't hard to turn when at a stop. Steel wheels are actually painted red under all that dust and I'll get better pics tomorrow after I wash it. Not a perfect ride but something you can actually drive while you fix the little things like the exhaust leak. The rear stripe is custom and is stylized with a modern take on the 'Super Bee' option group for Dodge vehicles in the late 60's. Pretty cool and definitely a conversation point. Floors are solid. Bed is solid. The worst rust spots are the base of the tailgate (pictured) and the leading edge of the hood. Call it patina because you won't find an original one that isn't rust free. Tires are good and title is clean and clear. Has a collector plate so no more tabs to buy. Cash only no trades but the right vintage motorcycIe trade might work. Email if you have any questions and leave your contact number if you want to check it out. The V8 engine could be any one of these: LA-273, A-318, LA-318 (`67-up), B-361 or the B-383 D200 D-100 D-200 ¾ short bed. longbed shortbed conventional Cab Compact and Express Standard Heavy Duty Til Crew but Tradesman Van Sleeper HD or Tilt Conventional Cab Utiline box. Low Line Wagon Short Sleeper and Sweptline Hi Mid Line sweptline.
