1982 GMC 3500 Box Truck with Lift Gate

GMC 3500 cab and chassis with a Morgan 12 foot box. This was an AT&T service support truck in Arizona so it is pretty solid as far as rust goes. It has a newer Goodwrench 350 crate motor and auto transmission. Odometer reads 44K, but I estimate this is actually 144K considering the hour meter has about 2300 hours. (144K miles divided by 2300 hours comes out to about 62 miles per hour so the math works for this to have 144K.) Truck runs and drives, but there is a leaky brake line going to the rear brakes which should be fixed before driving it any significant distance. The box does not leak and the roll-up door works fine. The hydraulic lift gate also works fine. I have been using this for storage for the past three years, and the guy I got it from was using it for storage as well, so it is dirty from sitting and has some mold growing on the body. It should clean up okay, but it still won't be a looker by any means. With a little TLC it can be a good workhorse, though. Could also be a decent candidate for restoration as this body style is getting harder to find now. This is available to inspect on the north side of Beloit pretty much any day.
