Description:
- Made in the USA and built in Wisconsin - Kawasaki 535cc 17HP OHV air cooled single cylinder motor - Tuff Torq 6 speed + reverse manual transmission - 48-inch floating steel deck with 3 blades - 16-inch front tires / 23-inch rear tires - Electric PTO - Weighs almost 500 LBs since mostly made of steel This riding mower / field mower is a beast and a workhorse. They haven’t made them like this for a long time. Guy who sold it to me said the previous owner brought it in for repairs because it wouldn’t start and instead of getting it fixed, opted to purchase a new one. I’ve had it for the last 5 years and used it at my property in Ramona to comply with wildfire guidelines. Never really had a problem with it other than the deck belt breaking once and the plastic hood crumbling to pieces because of so many years in the sun. I use the hood (you see in the images) to keep the sun and rain off of the motor when stored. When I’m using it, I don’t use the hood. The second image shows what the original hood looked like as well. You can buy a replacement hood for around $350, but I could never justify the cost. I’ve moved away to a property where I can’t use it anymore; otherwise I would not be selling it. My neighbor used to say it leaves the yard looking like a golf green after it’s mowed. That’s what a floating deck on a field mower is supposed to do though. Usually takes about 1.5 hours per acre to cut everything down to about 3-inches tall. Very efficient on gas too. Hate to let it go but I can’t even fit it through the gate at my new place. Full disclosure: - Will need a new battery unless you want to jump it like I did for the last 2 seasons. - Front tires lose air when it sits for longer than a few days. - Made mostly of steel; weighs over 500 pounds when fully fueled. ** Silver lining is the massive weight seems to help the mowing deck level out the gopher mounds super well. Honestly it transformed my yard. Asking $600 or best offer. A riding mower will cost you $200 per day if you can even find one for rent. Willing to deliver locally but only if paying full price Text or call me anytime. Have weekday afternoons and the weekends off. 7six0seven0three0five5zero
