2023 Royal Enfield Scram 411 - Various Colors

Meet Royal Enfield’s Scram 411, a brand-new adventure bike that draws on the successful design of Royal Enfield’s Himalayan but re-tunes it to be more ADV-friendly. It’s actually something of a crossover, boasting street-friendly wheels alongside a generous ground clearance of 7.8 inches. At a list price of $5,099, this makes it an affordable all-around bike, good for off-road and weekend trips. At the heart of this bike is Royal Enfield’s largest single, a 411cc, long-stroke, electric-start engine, delivering 24 hp at 6500 rpm, with maximum torque cited as 23.6 ft-lbs at 4250 rpm. The two-valve, fuel-injected engine is counterbalanced to minimize vibration. An upswept exhaust produces a mellow tone at idle, and gives a nice throb as you get up to cruising speed. The chassis is a half-duplex, split cradle unit. The newly developed one-piece stepped seat keeps you comfortable on long rides, and the suspension offers an excellent ride whatever the road conditions. And it’s got a five-speed cable-actuated wet clutch transmission to give you control and a four-gallon tank to make sure you get there. Brakes are from ByBre, a Brembo subsidiary, and feature dual-channel ABS and steel-braided lines. Combined with Ceat Gripp-XL dual-purpose tread tires, you get a straight, sure stop every time. Alongside a speedometer, the instrument cluster includes a clock, dual tripmeters, an odometer, and a gear-position indicator. The Scram 411 includes a three-year, unlimited-miles warranty with roadside assistance.
