FOR SALE: 1994 Ford Econoline “Weekender” Camper Van This is a rare vintage gem for sure. Are you looking for an affordable ride to travel the country or perhaps you want a kick-ass extra bedroom in your driveway? Meet Sheena. Queen of the American jungle. She’s got low miles and has been well cared for. Inside you’ll find a jungle-themed décor nicknamed the “Leopard Lounge” by the previous owners. She comes equipped with a sink, microwave, and a fridge to keep your beverages chilly. She’s been upgraded to include a USB charging site. She's got a futon that pulls out to a full sized bed. The table seen in the picture can be removed and stored under the bed. She’s got pull down shades on all windows for complete privacy. All of the back windows have screens to let the air flow in. There is also an air vent on top. The privacy curtains in the front & back will envelop you in a cocoon of jungle coziness. She’s got a heater too! She gets about 15-18 mpg and has a 35-ish gallon tank. Mileage: 134,420. Recent Upgrades: - New Car Battery installed 8/19/2023 2023 (about $3500 worth of work): - Replaced driver’s side power window controls - New Tires (only 2,000 miles on these puppies) - New Radiator and extended life cooling system flush - New Wiper Blades - Newer (used) Spare Tire under Car - Oil Change (will need another one in about 1,000 miles) - New Speed Sensor 2022 (about $2300 worth of work): - Ball Joint replacement - Replaced inner & outer tire rods and adjusters Sheena purrs like a kitten and these Ford motors have been known to easily get 200,000 miles with rumors of up to 500,000!!! Older Van Disclaimers: - The house battery is not keeping the fridge cool. The fridge runs fine when the car is running and plugged in at campsites. Will include a camping plug-in adapter for electric sites. In a nutshell, it’s advised to replace the house battery if you are planning on not using a plug-in campsite. - The water system needs a clean and flush. The previous owners did not use it (owned for 16 years). Do not drink out of the sink if you decide to use it until this is done. - The front inside console took a hit (storage and drink holder) on a trip to Bozeman, MT from Minneapolis earlier this year. If you are handy, a small plastic part should fix it right up. If you come to look at her, I’ll show you what I mean. - The radio/cassette player works 80% of the time. Thought about putting a CD player in, but decided not to. Will include a Bluetooth cassette adapter (yes they make those!). Otherwise, dust off your old cassette tapes and JAM!!!! Serious inquiries only. She only deserves the best. I’m not kidding that there will be tears when she rides off in the sunset.
