ACME MODEL 6001 SUPREME JUICERATOR MADE IN THE USA ALL STEEL VINTAGE ALL STEEL JUICER-- Runs so smooth and powerful its like an airplane engine in there. I have never seen any spinning appliance keep spinning after turning off, its that smooth and balanced. They DO NOT make many juicers in the USA anymore and not all steel like this. It is also the cleanest interior of any you will find and there is no plastic at all. The mesh bowl, top, clamping disk...all of it is steel. This is a centrifugal juicer, you push pieces of fruit down the chute with the only plastic part...the pusher. The spinning disc with teeth shreds it and it flings to the outside where any juice is spun out and into the steel collector and down the steel spout into a glass. Its not lightweight, not compact but it IS VERY QUIET + VERY POWERFUL. A very basic appliance, it has an on and off switch. THATS IT! All steel cleans easy and no chance of plastic dust, shavings or bits in the juice as the parts wear since they dont wear.
