Aya Art Co. is a nonprofit art organization based in Southern California that curates empowering spaces for TK - 8 youth to freely create and fully embody their unique, authentic expression. After School Expressive Arts Teachers are responsible for: • Setting up the classroom at participating schools throughout San Diego • Leading a classroom of students through our weekly curriculum of projects • Tracking attendance and maintaining student artwork • Facilitating an inclusive, mindful, and compassionate environment for kids to learn Applicants must be: • At least 18 years old & able to work in San Diego, CA • Confident leading children through creative group experiences • Fun, coachable & interested in creating a better world through education Please email your resume, cover letter, and a short explanation of why you're interested in this position to apply!
