Description:
I’m selling a lightly used Apple Mac desktop PC known as the Thunderbolt. This was bought new as an open box item. I am now selling as pre-owned. This has the 30” monitor and 2TB hard drive which is great for photography enthusiasts. It is likely Model : MC914LL/A MC914LL/B. I can’t be sure since I can’t get back into the system view to see the specs. There aren’t many choices when it comes to the Thunderbolt. The computer is probably 4 years old but sat in its box for 3 of those years. I had to wipe the hard drive in order to sell. Unfortunately, 2.4G of this 2TB hard drive was used for Windows programs functions. I made a mistake buying Mac because my Windows programs such as Photoshop will not work in Mac so I had to create a partition in the Mac. When you wipe a Mac with a windows partition you will often run into a startup reboot problem when trying to reload the original installed OS which in this case was Sierra. I had upgraded to Monterey when I used it. I have included all actual photos from this desktop which is an excellent computer in my opinion but not useful to me due to window program limitations. A new owner will only need to reload the MacOS program of their choice. This will bypass some of the issues I ran into as mentioned above. The old Sierra system needs a startup reboot tool to reload properly otherwise you get the error message. The photos show that if you press Command + R at restart you will get into the utilities. The world globe image shows how you put in your own internet network to get on-line. The images that follow show the main hard drive and the window partition that once existed. When you load your MacOS preference it will override the previous partition and you will be good to go. I am not a computer expert but know just enough to get into knowledgeable trouble.
