PROFILE OF COMPANY: Gray & Osborne has provided professional engineering services to public agencies throughout Washington State since 1935. We specialize in the planning, design, and construction management of water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and utility systems. The opening is in our Seattle office located at 1130 Rainier Avenue S., Suite 300. JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibilities include the preparation of electrical drawings for plan sets for water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and related public works facilities. Duties include working with electrical engineers to present electrical designs on plan sheets, preparing record drawings from contractor mark-ups, and maintaining electrical drawing standards. The position requires excellent presentation skills and attention to detail. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: • At least 2 years of experience with AutoCAD, preferably with preparing electrical drawings. • Experience with Civil3D preferred. • Graduation from a certified training program is preferred. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Able to work well with others in a collaborative manner. SALARY AND BENEFITS: We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The anticipated salary range for this position (including year-end bonus) is $60,000 to $100,000, depending upon experience. Benefits include 401K retirement plan (with employer profit-sharing contribution), medical, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 8 paid holidays and paid time off starting at 15 days per year.
