Regret letting this beautiful old Nordic cast iron stove go but after spending many hours lovingly restoring it back to its unpainted natural state we found out from a chimney guy that the fireplace brick work and mortar in our 120 year old chimney where we wanted to install it is to old to safely vent the heat this stove will produce, which was made by Birmingham Stove & Range Co of Birmingham Alabama who mostly made collectible cast iron pots and pans you might be more familiar with who are no longer in business but did amazing work with this stove unlike anything I've ever seen before which we found out was limitedly forged in 1977 to commemorate their 75th anniversary exactly replicating one they originally made when the company was founded in 1902 with casting details that just make it a incredible work of art that will make a wonderful conversation piece whether you vent it through a wall or up your chimney. And if you'd like to come look at it please keep in mind that it weighs approximately 400 lbs so you will need at least a few strong people to help move and load it into your truck or onto a trailer we’ll help you with but can’t deliver.
