Blind Bob Mills Genuine Manehair Mecate, 5/8", 22' long, NEW/Vintage

Genuine, Vintage and new, but hung in a rifle rack for 25+ years, so it's a bit faded. Blind Bob Mills/Blind Sam hand-pulled manehair Mecate, 22' long, 5/8" diameter. From my own stock (family from Kettleman City, where Blind Sam and Bob Mills lived and made these). Includes info and story about Sam Champlain and Bob Mills. I met Mr Mills personally a few times, would run into him walking his dog (or more, his dog walking him) when we were out rabbit hunting as kids in Kettleman City, CA. This one is new, never actually used, so it's a bit prickly and faded from years in a truck (hanging in rear window rifle rack). Have another brand new mecate of Mr Mills that was never used or untied, in brand-new shape, made of either mohair or wool (Mr Mills never used anything fake as material for ropes), tighter, stiffer, smaller diameter (more like 1/2"), softer material.
