Blue Microphones Kiwi- Multi-Pattern LDC with Hand Built Capsule!

Selling a Blue Kiwi Large-diaphragm Multi-pattern Condenser Microphone with Hand-Built Capsule!!! This was my "go to" Vocal Mic. It just sits perfect in the mix without the need for any eq whatsoever on my voice... the only mic in my locker that I can say that about. It also excels at capturing acoustic instruments extremely well. Everything really! What's Included -Blue Kiwi -Original Wood / Velvet Lined Case -Aftermarket Shock Mount (I explain below) w/ original packaging. -Origin Document / Quality Control Cert This particular microphones history. I purchased this from a buddy of mine, a fellow studio engineer/ producer who had a 2nd Kiwi for stereo room config. He found he used them very little in that manner, and resorted to using a single Kiwi in Omni or Figure of 8 for room placement.(amongst all of it's other uses). Under my ownership (and his) it has always (I repeat, always) been stored in it's case when not in use for consecutive days during a session. This is an earlier version (2006) (and sometimes speculated or argued to be better than the later models). It initially shipped with "The Shock"... Blue's sub par shock mount that failed repeatedly in both it's suspension and it's grasp of such an expensive microphone. *Sometime over the last several years, between moves while in Austin, TX the Original Box, Isolation/ Transport Pins for the Diaphragm, and the boxed up, stretched out "The Shock" all went missing. I purchased an aftermarket Gator Framework Shock mount that is a very snug fit for the Kiwi, but leaves you with a sense of confidence that the mic will never fall from it's position. If you've ever held the weight of a Kiwi in your hand, you'll know why this is of the utmost importance. What else can I say...? I'm not comfortable shipping this without it's transport pins (screws actually) at this time, so no shipping on this unfortunately. Condition is Excellent! Almost Like New, save for 1 small little blemish that has to be seen in the correct lighting and was pre- my ownership. By all means, look at Reverb prices... do your thing, shop and compare. Are you looking for the next "go to" vocal mic or a do it all microphone for your locker?... this may be it. Any questions, please reach out! I'm not into trading your 7 things for my microphone, I'm selling because I could use the cash. But please don't read into that as desperation, as I'm not there yet.
