Sales & Marketing Assistant Compensation: $16 an hour Job Type: Part-time - 20 hrs a week Ideally Mon-Thurs from 9-1 pm but the schedule is flexible Responsibilities: Sales Maintain and update all necessary sales portals, including customer service for retail portals Maintain calendar for sales initiatives Coordinate with the Sales Manager to identify sales objectives and goals and create a plan for achieving them Collect and process wholesale invoices Complete monthly sales reports for retail and wholesale channels Assist with planning and preparation for seasonal trade shows Work directly with cross functional teams to provide a successful flow of sales operations within the company Marketing Work with the Marketing Manager to manage brand initiatives and report performance Help create content for various social media platforms, website, and affiliate portals General Administrative support Preparing samples for wholesale and retail shows and marketing initiatives Additional tasks as assigned Requirements: The individual in this position must be a natural problem solver who can identify opportunities for process improvements. Self-motivated and comfortable working on deadlines independently and with others. The candidate must have strong communication skills, a working knowledge of Excel, and be social media savvy.
