Job Title: Daycare Worker Job Description: As a daycare worker at Daycare Center, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care and education to our young learners. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising and engaging with children, ensuring their safety, and promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized daycare environment that adheres to strict hygiene standards. Requirements: Minimum of one year of experience in childcare is essential. Knowledge of and adherence to minimum standards and regulations in childcare. Demonstrated teachability and a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally. A warm and welcoming personality with a genuine passion for working with children. Patience and compassion to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for the children. A keen eye for cleanliness and organization to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the kids. Ability to work collaboratively with other daycare staff and communicate effectively. Basic understanding of child development principles and early childhood education is a plus. First Aid and CPR certification is preferred but not required (training can be provided). Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Spanish welcomed. Responsibilities: Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Prepare and serve snacks and meals, following dietary guidelines and restrictions. Maintain a clean and hygienic daycare environment, including regular sanitization of toys and play areas. Observe and document children's behavior and progress for communication with parents/guardians. Collaborate with other daycare staff to create and implement fun and educational programs. Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
