Drop Leaf Danish Teak Dining Table *Masterfully Refinished*

This high sought after table table is made out of 100 percent wood on legs and sides and pressed wood with teak veneers on top. Typical for the mid century period. The brand is Ansager Mobler a Danish company. Hours were spent freshly refinishing and sanding the table to a fine grit using 3 coats coats of oil based polyurethane (most durable finish, and way better than using the lacquer finish they use in mass produce tables like the way this was finished originally) while sanding in between to create such a beautiful, transparent effect on the wood grain that is also extremely durable. You could set an ice cold beverage on the top and wouldn't have to worry about a ring appearing. No brush marks or short cuts were taken. The table measures 27 1/2 W (with leafs down) 29 3/4" High X 35 1/2" Deep. With one leave up the width is 42" and with both up is 56 1/2" wide. Click other ads by user to see more my work.
