Description:
Offered for sale is an UNPLAYED and exquisite Eastman E20P rosewood parlor guitar. This superb all solid, hand-made parlor guitar is offered for sale in new condition! Bought new. Never gigged. Kept in non-smoking, temperature and humidity controlled studio. This boutiquette quality Eastman Parlor guitar is crafted from all solid-premium East Indian Rosewood and boasts a AAA Adirondack top over hand spokeshaven scalloped Adirondack spruce braces. The neck is carved from one pc of Hunduran Mahogany. A gorgeous strip of hand-formed fine Herringbone adorns the Solid Adirondack top. There is a "vintage" volute (sometimes called a "dart") carved on the back of the slotted headstock. Elegant abalone diamonds are used for the fingerboard position markers. The neck and entire body are bound in beautiful grained ivoroid. A light vintage toner shaded the top perfectly. One would be hard put to find a better sounding and better playing new parlor guitar. In a word it is NOT a "stretch" or hyperbole. These sell new for $1700 (how do they do it?) and here's a BTW: Eastman guitars just got bought out by Dana Bourgeois and he is moving the company to the US. Someone else valued Eastman guitars and mandolins!!!! Better get this one at $1500 firm while it lasts. FYI, I'm actually in Rochester, but come to the cities almost weekly. Happy to meet up somewhere convenient for us both.
