Electric Scooter - Fluid Freeride Mosquito Bought this scooter as an upgrade to a Segway back in November. I really love it but I tore my calf riding my bike and now I haven’t ridden it in several months. For people unfamiliar - this is a super light, super fast scooter with shock absorption and a built in light. It’s a dream to ride, you feel like you’re floating. It can go 25+ mph, travel range of 20 miles and weighs less than 30 pounds. It easily collapses for the subway and can fit under a desk. I store it standing upright with a bike hook at home. It’s also more water proof than some Segways - an issue I had in the past. The tires are not pneumatic, so you don’t have to worry about flats. It’s not cheap though, retails around $850.
