Description:
One bedroom for rent in a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1300-square foot row home with a back patio and a large basement with storage for your things. Rent is $975/month, all utilities included. Room can be ready to move in on 8/15, but also happy to hear from those looking to move in on 9/1 or even 10/1. The bedroom for rent is the primary bedroom - bright, hardwood floors, 12' x 15'. This room can be furnished or unfurnished. It has an adjustable thermostat that you can set heat and AC where you want. The house itself is a straight-through row home with furnished living room, dining area, kitchen, and half-bath on the first floor. On the second floor are three bedrooms (yours is the front master bedroom). The other two are an office and smaller bedroom, both used by your roommate. The second floor also has a full bathroom with shower/tub. In the basement is a washer/dryer for you to use, along with storage space. The back patio is fairly large and you are welcome to use it. The location (12th and Tasker) is one of the best parts of the house: it's a quiet street but a one-block walk to the singing fountain on Passyunk Ave and all the shops and restaurants there. Also a quick walk to the Broad Street Line and many buses. About me: I'm 40F, an artist with an offsite studio and a client portfolio that keep me out of the house the majority of weekdays, though sometimes I work from home. I love to cook (but clean up afterward!) and I'm social but respectful. I do have friends over for dinner or hanging out in the main area, but I am happy to be aware of my roommate's schedule and needs. The ideal roommate would be respectful, social (or not opposed to others coming over occasionally), willing to keep common areas neat when finished using, and comfortable communicating any needs pertaining to sharing space, LGBTQIA+ friendly. I love dogs and cats but can't have any at home due to allergies. No smoking inside, outside is OK. (I don't smoke.) If interested, please share a bit about yourself, your common routine as it pertains to home , and anything else that feels useful for me to know as potential roommates. Thank you!
