IH244 compact 2WD utility tractor

IH244 is a 2WD compact utility tractor by Mitsubishi for International Harvester in Japan from 1982 to 1984. The 244 is equipped with a 1.0 Liter (59.7 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine with 868 hours. A continuous mesh transmission with 9 forward / 3 reverse gears, 2 speed rear power take off. The recovery company used the front end loader as an attachment point to right the tractor and pull it to level ground. As a result the loader arms were severely bent and the loader assembly except for the frame mount has been removed and scrapped. The tractor rolled slowly onto it's left side while mowing after the left front wheel dropped into a deep unseen brush covered hole. The engine continued to run for a few minutes until it ran out of diesel. At least one rod is knocking. Instrument cluster appears functional, Oil pressure light turns on when switch turned on, goes out after engine starts. That could mean there's a decent pressure or just enough to activate the sensor. The sheet metal hood is bent. Every thing from the back of the engine, (transmission, 3 speed rear, 2 speed power take off, ect.) and draw bar hydraulics appear to be functional. The rear tires and rims are like new. They were replaced about a year and a half ago, are not leaking and do not appear to be bent. The front tires are about 75% on the tread. The tractor has low hours and light use and is in repairable condition for someone who's looking for a project. It's a just right size for a small farm. Please View Photos.
