Interns wanted for busy recording studio

Amplified Studios (amplifiedstudios.com) is a recording studio that additionally offers artistic development, podcasting, rehearsals, lessons, and event staging; we also publish an online events mag (amplifiedsd.com) for the San Diego music scene. We seek a few interns to work 10/20 hours/week with our various departments for a number of tasks, including marketing, sales reachout, rehearsal setups, recording session setups, video editing, writing articles and interviews, and whatever else comes up. The ideal candidate will have: 1. Some college, AA/BA degree is a plus 2. Experience/connection to the world of music as a musician or in another capacity; being a musician is a plus 3. A creative mind also capable of working/learning about complex audio equipment 4. Very organized and able to take direction 5. Desire to work in the music industry We offer a great working environment and all the coffee you can drink. You will be working with music industry pros as everyone working here is a musician and/or recording engineer. We teach our interns about everything we do and offer reccomendation letters for college credit to those still in school The position is as a volunteer, but most of our interns have been offered paid hours as they mature in the job Interested?
