Description:
The short version: Reynolds 520 steel frame. 120mm Fox fork. 27.5+ Boost. Sliding dropouts for all of your darkest single speed desires. Dropper with internal routing. XD driver. A burly and fun bike that got me into the woods over the past few years, but I've since gone to a more XC-oriented 29" hard tail, so this one's gotta go. Build is as follows: Frame: Reynolds 520 steel frame, 44mm headtube, 31.6mm seat tube. Mounts: 2x bottle mounts on downtube, one on top and one underneath. I used p-clamps to attach a 'traditional' cage on the seat tube. Rack mounts. Fork: Fox Rhythm 34 Float 29/27.5+, 120mm travel, 15mm x 110mm axle Headset: FSA Orbit headset Drivetrain: SRAM GX 11-speed shifter, rear derailleur. SRAM XG - 1150 10-42t cassette. Truvativ Stylo DUB cranks, 170mm length, with SRAM 32t X Sync 2 chainring. SRAM DUB BSA bottom bracket. Wheelset: WTB ST i40 TCS tubeless 27.5"+, Formula hubs, 6-bolt, Boost. XD driver. Tires: Vittoria Aggaro, 27.5 x 2.6", set up tubeless. Max tire size is 3"! Brakes: SRAM Level TL, freshly bled. Cockpit: Race Face Ride bars, 31.8mm, 740 mm width. 60mm and 80mm stems included (80mm stem shown). Fresh ESI grips. Saddle: WTB Volt 142 Seatpost: SDG Tellis 31.6mm 175mm dropper post. Wolftooth seatpost collar. **Note that saddle height shown in photos is 700mm (center of BB to top of saddle). Given the ~45mm of dropper left to slam, this gives an effective minimum saddle height around 655mm unless you buy a shorter travel post. The only blemish outside of normal wear and tear, as would be expected on a mountain bike, is a small dent along the top tube which is about the size of a thumbnail. Ride it in Belmont as-is, throw a rigid fork on it (or not) and some bags and go bike packing, or maybe throw some floaty 3" tires and single speed it for no reason. The choice is yours. Price is $900 *cash*, i.e. no electronic payments accepted. Meet up in Fairmount behind Eastern State Penitentiary on evenings and weekends. Test rides with collateral; bring pedals.
