Description:
Hi! Looking to swap my 1BR, 650 sq ft. apartment in downtown Boston for long weekends in NYC, with dates flexible from the fall through the spring. (September - May, Friday afternoons-Tuesday afternoons/evenings). I am open to a one-time swap or a recurring exchange. My place is recently renovated, on the top floor of an 8-story, elevator building. It has views east and 14’ ceilings. It is very nicely furnished with all Bosch appliances (including d/w and w/d) and central heat/air. It’s perfect for one person or a couple looking to be in the center of the city. On the edge of Chinatown, the walk score is a 10+. South Station and all subway lines are a short walk away, as is the Boston Common, Public Garden, Greenway, Downtown Crossing, So. End, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the Seaport, and The Freedom Trail. Trains and ferries to the Cape, the coast, and elsewhere are also just a short walk away. For the cost of a round-trip Amtrak ticket, you can enjoy a long weekend smack-dab in the heart of the city and its cultural and historical attractions. I’m a mature, responsible writer/professor. Don’t smoke, no pets, very quiet and very clean. I have a lot of sublet and swap experience, and it has always gone smoothly. I used to live in NY and am hoping to reconnect with friends, theater, and museums during my long weekends off throughout the school year. I prefer to be in Manhattan within reasonable distance from Penn Station by foot, taxi, or subway. The closer the better, but will consider other locations as well. I am happy to provide you with more photos and answer any other questions you might have. Just drop me a line telling me a bit about yourself and your place in New York – and please let me know that you’re not a bot. Otherwise, I probably will not respond. Thanks!
