Preschool Teacher Position

St. Paul's Preschool is a School and Church Ministry where staff work together to develop young children academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Candidates will be working with children ages 2-5. They will help maintain a clean classroom environment that stimulates learning in fun, hands-on ways. Candidates will support the other teachers in supervision and care of the children. Candidates will supervise children, communicate with families and implement our philosophy and purpose in all they do. Candidates will become integral in the success of our school! Qualifications: *Candidates for our teaching positions should be excellent in working with young children ages 2-5 *Can create engaging learning experiences for groups of 6-12 children *Have a positive and supportive attitude that translates to relationships with the children, their families and coworkers *Have completed 12 or more core early childhood units, possess a CD permit, AA or higher degree *Have 1 year or more experience in the early childhood/preschool center setting *Must submit to fingerprint clearance, provide proof of good health and immunizations Responsibilities: *Position from now - June 14, 2023 with the exception of school breaks and holidays per our school calendar. An option to teach in Summer 2024 is available *Hours are 1pm-5pm (20 hrs/week) possibility to sub during morning hours *This position is the Lead Afternoon teacher and as such will supervise groups of children, etc. in accordance to Title 22 standards for Licensed Childcare facilities. *Must attend staff trainings, staff development events and after hours program events as requested.
