We're selling only because our boys have now outgrown this bike. We just dialed in the shift indexing, so shifting is quick and smooth. The disc brakes work great, providing both great stopping power and excellent modulation to maintain control. The tires' tread pattern is less aggressive up the middle, allowing this bike to be at home on both the pavement and the trail. The freehub body holding the cassette should also be able to accommodate 9-speed cassettes if you decide to upgrade the shifters.
