Seeking 1 friendly, roommate for a 2 BR apartment living with me & a cat. Furnished bedroom. Grad students, researchers, or working professionals preferred. If you don't want it furnished, that can work, too, if you're staying awhile. Perks of the place: - 12 min walk to Harvard U. in beautiful neighborhood - Completely furnished, including bedroom - Quiet area at night A bit about me: - I am a working professional, self employed, work 70% at home, vaccinated. - I work out regularly, swim, walk, socialize with friends, travel.read, cook occasionally (more in winter) - Into tea and smoothies lately, it changes seasonally - Keeps common areas clean, neat, considerate, friendly, recycles, composts.Seeking someone who likes to keep a place neat and clean, too. 🙂 - Open to 1 more cat Apt is on 2nd floor in 4 unit brick building between Harvard Sq and Fresh Pond Reservoir, Cambridge, MA • 12 minute walk to Harvard Sq. Bus stop 1/2 block away (#72) • Active, busy street by day, quiet in evenings. Pretty, safe, walkable neighborhood which you will love • Easy on-street permit parking (parking permits are simple to get). Permit cost $25. annually • Blue Bike (bike rental) station 1/4 block away • Corner unit with nice light ☀️ • Wood floors - no carpet • Many outlets - building recently rewired, up- to-code • Available bedroom has a closet, furnished with single bed, big desk, dresser, bookcase, lamps, comfy chair. If you don't want it furnished, that can work, too, if you're staying awhile • Utilities (Wi-Fi, Gas and Electric - all 3 = approx. $80.) • Heat is included! • Washer / Dryer • Large kitchen, with sunlight ☀️ • Lots of privacy – bedrooms separated by U-shaped hallway • Friendly indoor cat lives here. Will consider 1 more cat • Walking distance to: Harvard U, Porter Sq T, Alewife T, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Formaggio’s (boutique food store), CVS, Hi-Rise Bakery, Cambridge Trust, dry cleaner, Armando's (pizza), Fresh Pond Reservoir for lovely walks/runs, etc. About You: • Friendly, employed professional, academic or medical grad work, late 20's, or in 30's, 40's, 50’s, vaccinated • Full, active professional and social life • You work mostly outside of the home • Keeps common areas clean, you're considerate, friendly, recycles, composts - the things that make for a peaceful co-existence. • Shares cleaning kitchen & bathroom or we hire a cleaner and split the cost • We're socially friendly when we see each other You don't smoke / burn anything :) The cat has asthma + lease states no smoking. Open to female or male, straight or gay 1st month's rent, security deposit of half rent, must give 30 days notice by 1st of the month when you're moving out
