Description:
Four (4) beautiful Southwestern landscape watercolor prints by renowned artists. Three (3) by Michael Atkinson (one initialed, 2 not initialed) and one (1) by Milton Lewis (an initialed print named “Crystal Lake Crossing”). All are professionally framed in beautiful metal frames. Michael Atkinson is a master of Southwestern landscapes. His distinctive style instantly identifies his works. Atkinson’s paintings are a unique balance of detailed realism and abstract expanses. The main subject of Michael Atkinson's paintings features bright colors and detail, and most of his portraits and still life pieces contain a vast amount of white space in an attempt to draw focus to the main image. He has earned awards at numerous juried shows. The outside dimensions of the Atkinson works are 1 – gold frame (initialed piece entitled "Canyon Village" – 13 ¼” x 15 ¼”, 2 – gold frame – 11 1/8” x 16 1/8”, 3 – silver frame – 10 ¼” x 16 ¼”. Milton Lewis’ style is very similar to that of Atkinson, using bright colors on a broad expansive background to create very eye-catching pictures. “I try to capture the sense of movement in my paintings” as Mr. Lewis says himself. The outside dimensions of the Milton Lewis piece, entitled "Crystal Creek Crossing" – silver frame – 13 ¼” x 15 ¼” These are all very handsome, and relatively scarce, pieces that represent both a vanished time of our Southwest, as well as works by renowned artists. Beautiful wall decor to enhance any room. The scarcity of these items, as well as the cost of the professional matting and frames themselves, make for a very reasonable pricing, for all four prints offered together, of $225. Individual purchases prices will be negotiated.
