Incumbents in this classification provide direct academic support to students and teachers which directly supports learning. Requirements / Qualifications Required Testing or Certificates As required for Special Education Aide positions, you must have one of the following (NCLB compliance): -48 college credits, or -an AA degree, or -a passing score on the Paraeducator Proficiency Exam NCLB Compliance (48 units or pass the paraeducator exam.
