Surf Instructors now hiring

NOW HIRING INSTRUCTORS WORK AT THE BEACH! -- AT MOONLIGHT BEACH IN ENCINITAS Good summer job for people home from college for the summer, or just on summer vacation from high school, or anyone. NOW HIRING FOR 5 days a week SUMMER SURF CAMP Starts Monday June 19 and runs every week until Friday August 18. 9:45-1:15 or 1:30 Monday to Friday. 3.5 to 4 hours per day --- $60/day, $300 per week Easiest hours on the beach. May be some opportunity for second shift on some days when we run an afternoon camp during the busiest part of the summer in late July. Paid break during the middle of the camp, and free pizza on Friday. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -- WE WILL TRAIN YOU OUR WISH LIST for your qualifications: At least 5 years surfing experience 18 years old minimum (will consider those 16 and over with a lot of surfing experience as assistants.) In college or graduate, or plans to attend college. High School diploma NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY We can easily train you in our methods. We have written guidelines for instructors. As long as you are energetic, professional, and have surfed for a while, you will do fine. We are looking for people who have surfed 5 years or more, but less is okay. If you are second generation surfer, ie, your parents surf, that is a plus. These are camps for kids. Paid twenty minutes lunch. If you have LIFEGUARD, EMT or CPR certifications, that will increase your chances of working. WE ALWAYS CONSIDER WAY LESS THAN THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS, OUR "WISH LIST" FOR INSTRUCTORS, we look at all past experience and personalities, don't think you are disqualified because of the above criteria. Pay is $60 for a three and a half hour to 3 hour 45 minutes daily. $300/week. Good money for a half day at the beach! We will train you in our method, along with our written guidelines.
