Eastern/Chadrow Associates, Inc. is a locally owned Bucks County company, and is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Instrument Operator. No recruiters!** **Please transmit your resume' via email from Craigslist - no phone calls please.** Survey Instrument Man/Rodman/Field Personnel Full time employment position, needed Instrument Man for small survey firm. Experience a plus, however, willing to train. Responsibilities will include: • How to setup a total station. • Ability to run a traverse closure that exceeds minimum standards with current equipment. • Able to collect field data/evidence from the instrument and/or prism pole. • Operate the survey total station and level instruments. • Record survey data in field books. • Maintain all survey equipment. • Assist party chief with survey files and field calculations. We do a high volume of Residential and Commercial Boundary Surveys (ALTA, Boundary Stakeout, Construction Stakeout, As-Built, Topography, Perc Testing, Flood Elevation, etc.). Job also includes courthouse & online research and record keeping. Qualifications (Will Train) Willing to train, however, a plus if candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience in Land Surveying and be a team player who enjoys working outdoors. A plus if candidate has experience with Data Collection and various survey equipment, and able to operate contemporary survey instruments with little supervision. Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Candidate must be willing and able to commute or relocate to our office located in Warminster, PA. MS Word & Excel is a plus. Drug and background check will be required. Applicant must be able to tolerate construction noise, inclement weather, carefully carry survey equipment over various wooded and rocky terrains, perform physical labor (i.e. cut line through brush, install concrete monuments, etc.). We Offer Compensation based upon experience. After 6 months partial medical benefits provided. After 1 year of employment 1 week paid time off. After 2 years of employment 2 weeks paid time off. Paid holidays. Salary: $27,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
