This is a high quality family heirloom piece of furniture. This is a Substantial and heavy well made antique mirrored dressing vanity / drop well dresser bureau / chest of drawers / wash stand basin cabinet. It is from the Mid-Late Victorian Period (1850-1890) crafted from authentic American chestnut hardwood planking with densely-grained American black walnut hardwood accents. It has incorporating design elements of the Victorian Gothic Revival (1840-1860) and early Modern Gothic (1870-1890) Styles; and boudoir essential style (from the late 1800s). The bottom Washstand’s dresser base features a pair of short glove box drawers. The top of the dresser has a beautiful grained solid chestnut plank top. It has applied raised drawer-front walnut panels with original turned walnut knobs. All dovetail drawers that open and close well. Three equal-sized (6 and 1/2 inches high) drawers. Stunning large detachable glass rectangular mirror features highly-figured arched pediment framework with full-carved at pinnacle; protruded curved moulding; carved lunette ornaments; horizontal and vertical raised panels on pediment. There is a pair of tapered walnut beveled-top candle stands. The bureau is 35” H x 40.5” W x 19” D The Mirror is 55.5” H x 37” W. Priced for $375 dollars.
