Vintage Green Ray-O-Vac Sportsman 360 Fluorescent Camping Lantern Lamp

The Ray-O-Vac Sportsman 360 camping lantern features two F6T5 lamps and is powered by four 6V batteries. The switch gives you the option to operate either one or two lamps at high or low brightness. It claims to have a run time of up to 30 hours on the highest setting and 82 on the lowest, when equipped with heavy duty batteries. It is quite bright compared to most modern fluorescent lanterns. The dim setting is quite a bit lower, though it didn't look like it was causing the lamps to sputter. They recommend starting the lantern with one lamp on high to minimize wear.
