Wm. Knabe & Co. Upright Piano #66024 Knabe pianos embrace great craftsmanship, handmade in Baltimore, possibly early 1900s This was a really good piano in its time that was left in a house we recently purchased. Only asking $75 to cover the cost of evaluation by a piano technician. (See picture) We had a piano technician/tuner/repairman come out to evaluate the piano. The results of his evaluation are listed below. - Crack through bass bridge w/distortion on played notes - Dampers have significant ring-through (need replaced) - Action: some small repairs, regulation needed - Pin-block seems good. Possibly tuneable and playable as is: with Limitations It's not for us right now, we don't have the time or play the piano but maybe you do. If you are a pianist, or piano repairman, who can use the parts to repair other pianos or a craftsman who can use parts to make other items to sell, it might interest you. I have seen some cool pieces made from parts of the piano on Pinterest, etc. If interested or have any questions, or want to stop by to see the piano, please ask.
